The position
As a hardware engineer, you will be an essential part of our product development team, where you will be involved in all aspects and phases of the development process. You will work in a fast and dynamic environment with colleagues involved in the development of hardware, software, mechanics, microbiology, and microfluidic solutions. The job includes all phases of hardware development, from conceptualization to design, layout, and implementation. It is important for our team that you can be challenged by solving new issues, value ownership and responsibility of the project, and have a proactive approach to work.
Responsibilities as Hardware Engineer
Elaboration and design of system architecture
Schematics and PCB layout in Altium Designer
System integration with a focus on ESD, shielding, EMC, and thermal issues
System bring-up
Communication and collaboration with the development team and partners
Root cause analysis and problem-solving
Documentation
About you
We expect you to have an engineering degree in electronics. You must have at least 2-3 years of experience within the following disciplines:
Development of devices or measuring instruments
System design incl. circuit design, system bring-up, integration and debugging
Digital electronics
Robust design in relation to ESD / EMI immunity
Work in a laboratory-based environment (soldering, oscilloscope, data collection)
Broad understanding of multi-disciplinary product development and the phases all the way from proof-of-principle to production
Knowledge of analogue electronics and its interface to digital electronics will be an advantage
You must be fluent in Danish and English, both in writing and speaking.
Personal skills
You must be motivated by technical challenges and be able to follow things through to completion. You feel well about design and theoretical work as well as with hands on, test and assembly work. Documentation of your work is part of your DNA and you are good at communication with the rest of the team, ensuring all work towards the same goals.
