Company Size: We're a startup with a diverse team consisting of 2 founders, 5 employees, several mentors, researchers, and suppliers, united by the same goal: to create the best and most sustainable leather alternative by upcycling food waste.

We are looking for a part-time student helper, 12 hours per week, who would assist with marketing and communication at Beyond Leather. The start date is the beginning of February 2022.

As a student helper, you will work closely with our marketing and communication team to build a strong visual identity on our social media platforms. Furthermore, you will assist in the logistic part of our sales flow. 

You will have an opportunity to be part of a fast-growing start-up company and to see how it is to develop an innovative material that is based on food waste.

Tasks: 

• Assisting in the management of our social media platforms (primarily LinkedIn and Instagram)

• Community management

• Assisting in content creation and bringing new ideas to the table

• Assisting in photoshoots and editing

• Following the trends in social media and content creation 

• Preparing and sending out sample orders

Profile: 

• You are currently pursuing higher education in communication, journalism, or marketing.

• A natural content creator: You are passionate about social media, love building a community, and follow the latest trends.

• You understand how to use social media as a marketing and branding tool.

• You have great communication skills both written and spoken. 

• You are confident in using the Adobe package, especially Photoshop on an intermediate level.

• You speak English in full professional proficiency. 

• You are organized and know how to work in a structured way.

• You have quick learning skills.
