Passionate mobile developer ready to take lead role

In this role, you will take the lead on our mobile apps, in particular our flagship product RheumaBuddy, which is current European market leader within Rheumatology. You will have a central role working closely with our mobile developers and our Technical Lead, so you can easily try out a new architecture or battle test a new user interface component from Android Jetpack.

The primary tasks and responsibilities are:

• Defining mobile architecture and logic

• Sparring with app developers and Tech Lead/backenders

• Concept development/sparring with Product Lead and UX Designer

• Test coordination with QA engineer

• Scouting for new technologies and smarter ways of working

The job requires that you have a highly professional attitude and put high quality in your work. We expect you to be fluent in either English or Danish.

Our typical tech stack consists of:

• Kotlin and Java codebase

• MVP architecture

• Jagger 2 dependency injection

• Retrofit/okhttp network layer

• Most projects updated to AndroidX some still on support library

Your background

You have a relevant developer background at least at bachelor-level. You have minimum 5 years of experience as a mobile developer, and feel very much at home in Android SDK, Kotlin, Java and Google Play. We use the newest development tools and have automated release systems implemented. You find testing as an integrated part of your role, and know how to construct the code base to allow for testing. Version management, automatic build and code documentation are natural parts of your routines.
