Construction Architect

Based in Copenhagen, Corner Nordisk ApS came to life in 2018, as a foreign-invested enterprise of a construction engineering firm. Business areas have covered interior design, graphic design, etc, and we are on our pathway to develop construction fields. Thus, we are looking for a Construction Architect to join the journey and together shape the future of Corner Nordisk. Your main task is to develop 2D and 3D technical designs and edit architectural drawings. As construction projects are located in Taiwan, as a designer in Denmark, your role is to stimulate different types of solutions that combined design, materials, and construction solutions into one beautiful result. You are also expected to work independently. Thus, it is an opportunity for someone who are interested in learning being a leader in his/her own tasks.

Most importantly, it’s a position suitable for those who are very comfortable with intercultural working environments, as most of your tasks will be given from clients in Asia and they might have completely different types of requirements from what you used to receive from clients in Denmark. In return, your works will be realized abroad.

Duties:

• Develop 2D and 3D technical designs and edit drawings.

• Apply and integrate technical detailing and material technologies to develop design solutions into a set of construction documents.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Architectural design software skills (AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software).

• Knowledge in all aspects of buildings (floor plans, elevations, section, 3D).

• Have completed or studying related education. 

• Experiences with large-scale buildings is a great advantage.

• Able to communicate fluently in English. The Office language is English.

• A mindset ready to work independently in a small-sized firm.   

Working hours and location 

You are expected to work approximately 15 -30 hours per week, depend on suitability. The office is located at Bloxhub, right in the city center of Copenhagen. It’s not a problem if you are not based in Copenhagen and want to work from home in Denmark.

Fongtex Co is a construction engineering firm located in Taiwan, with 60 coworkers. Past projects included large-scale buildings, shopping centers, factories, and private villas. There are currently 5 Architectural Designers in the team, conducting 2D and 3D technical drawings. They will be your e-colleagues and support you, remotely.

Corner Nordisk is a branch office in Copenhagen. We are currently a team of 4 people, indeed a small team. Thus, it is important that you do want to work independently, whereas you will become a vital member of the team and have a direct impact on the company.
