The Position As a Financial Planning & Reporting Specialist, you’ll have a central and essential role within the Lenus Finance team - helping to drive value creation by working with multiple aspects of our financial forecasting and planning process, process optimizations, reporting and financial analysis. In this role you will join a team of over 10 dedicated finance professionals working closely together to support Lenus in its growth journey.
Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:
Provide support with financial processes, management and financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting as well as ad-hoc financial analysis
Assist in the development and enhancement of a long-term rolling forecasting model to support future growth
Work in conjunction with all department heads to forecast, plan and control budgets; prepare and manage budget planning and review process in a proactive manner
Partner with members of the Finance and other teams assisting in the administration, improvement, and development of scalable budgeting and forecasting processes and tools
Perform cost controlling and reporting as well as monthly variance analysis between Budgets, Rolling forecasts and actuals
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the interdependency of cost drivers
Participate in monthly, quarterly and full-year closing processes by working closely with the accounting team
Prepare monthly financial and management reporting with executive summaries for all relevant department heads, executive management team and investors
Participate in various finance projects including helping with the development of the future reporting and controlling set-up, e.g. in our new ERP systems
Identify opportunities to implement automated solutions to streamline processes
Build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional team

About you
As our new Financial Planning & Reporting Specialist, you will be in touch with most of the organisation, so you must have excellent external and interpersonal communication skills, enjoy flexibility and be willing to work in a fast-paced agile environment as well as be curious, proactive and a quick learner with a solid business understanding. Our team is driven by excellent cooperation and dynamic sparring. We take ownership of our projects and strive to deliver with the highest quality. It is important that you are self-driven, ambitious and passionate in solving professional challenges.
You have:
A relevant bachelor's degree (or higher), preferably in Business/Finance, and 2-3 years of experience in a Financial or Business Controlling role
Have a strong understanding of finance systems, processes and controls
Experience working with BI tools (Tableau or Power BI) is a plus
Experience working with E-conomic and Netsuite as ERP systems
An analytical mindset with a desire to fulfil tasks in a detail-oriented way
An outgoing personality, with a love for proactively tackling problems
The ability to communicate clearly, including having the ability to communicate financial issues in an understandable language
Excellent English speaking and writing skills
Have high ability to multitask and strong organizational skills
