About the job

ExSeed Health is looking for an ambitious Full Stack Developer to help us develop our Medical Device Software (IVDR) and accompanying cloud hosted on AWS. The candidate will join our diverse development team.

The ideal candidate will have a wish to lead software lifecycle management of our Medical Device Software and a vision to drive the continuous development. He/She is ideally a skilled Full Stack Developer (Focus on Android/Kotlin) with experience in AWS and NoSQL database. He/She has a desire to be part of a bigger vision of our company and to be an integral part of a team leading us to success.

Essential skills 

• Strong experience in Full Stack Development (Especially Android/Kotlin)

• Good understanding of AWS Cloud Services and NoSQL (MongoDB)

• Experience in working with system validation (e.g. from Healthcare systems, Finance, Defense or Aerospace industries

• Ability and motivation to document System Requirements, Architecture, Testing and other regulatory requirements

• Knowledge of unit, integration, and system testing

• Proficient written and spoken English

Bonus points

• Development and management of Medical Device Software

• Experience with Internet of Things, Serial communication, or camera functionalities/OpenCV

• Knowledge in software lifecycle management and software requirement tracking according to IEC 62304

• Experience with Azure DevOps or Jira for requirement tracking

• Understanding of iOS (Swift), Objective C or Python

Responsibilities

• Design and Architect mobile app projects and large-scale integrations

• Implement backend components

• Build and document architectures that are certified as Medical Device Software

• Build frameworks that support cutting-edge digital health applications

• Engage with continuous delivery workflows in rapid development cycles

• Develop prototypes quickly with empathy for the end-user
