Woodsense is looking for a UI/UX designer to help us further develop our web application. At Woodsense we work to eliminate waste in the construction industry and enable an increased use of timber in buildings leading to a more sustainable industry. Using our IoT sensors we monitor the health of wooden structures and materials with the goal of preventing damages and preventing the need for replacement of materials.
The construction industry is accountable for approximately 40% of the world's CO2 emissions so if you are looking to make an impact on the green transition Woodsense might be the right place for you.
What we're looking for
We are looking for someone who has a good eye for UI/UX and who can create well thought through designs using a design tool like Figma or Adobe XD.
Our platform is built on top of a starter Dashboard skeleton and we are currently using Bootstrap for styling, but we are open to new ideas.
You will be working closely with our frontend development team.
You are comfortable and/or experienced working with
A design tool like Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD
UX
Conduct user and usability test
Formulate requirements according to user feedback and put it into a design
It is a plus if you
Have experience working with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
