ABOUT KVALIFIK

Kvalifik is a digital agency and software company based in Copenhagen consisting of approx. 20 curious, data-driven creators with competencies in software development and design.

We help our customers build and launch top-notch innovative digital products and services all the way from wireframes to design, development with automated tests and user testing – and we need yet another smart brain on board to help our customers fly into the future! 

Our current stack consists of React (Next.js) using tailwind CSS, Node.js (NestJS), React Native (Expo) and Shopify. We use Typescript whenever possible. As tech lead you will define and develop the stack going forward. Our work is project-based with timelines typically between a couple of weeks to half a year. We work by agile development principles (scrum) and we have strong values that we believe in, which you can read more about in our manifesto.

We love to work with visionary companies to turn (sometimes crazy) ideas into reality and make digital innovation happen for NGOs, startups and big corporations. Business is booming and therefore we are looking for a consulting product owner to help our customers scope out the right technical functionality and facilitate agile development processes.

ABOUT THE JOB

Job tasks

• Technical scoping of software development projects, including defining epics and user stories and estimating those with our team of developers and designers

• Being scrum-master and facilitating agile software development projects, from start to finish, including managing customer demands to ensure maximum satisfaction.

• Improving our setup and processes for doing data-driven and user-centric design and agile development

• Ensuring the right staffing (together with our project managers and tech lead)

• Consulting clients on their software needs and bridging business needs with technical requirements

• Making proposals and pricing software projects

• Managing selected key customer accounts 

You will work with our team of project managers and our new tech lead. If you are the right match, you will be offered an option program and thus the opportunity to become a co-owner of Kvalifik.

SKILLS AND WHO YOU ARE 

You fit the profile for this position if you:

• Have relevant background within IT and work experience as an it-consultant, product owner or product manager.

• Expert in SCRUM and agile development

• Expert in understanding and translating client and end-user needs into requirements

• Experience with user research and user testing 

• Know Javascript frameworks, such as React (and/or React Native) and Node.js.  Preferably also TypeScript. Additional frameworks and technologies are a plus.

• Have knowledge of modern software development concepts such as continuous integration and delivery, git workflows, containerization, infrastructure as code and automated testing. 

• Have experience working in a professional team environment with developers and designers

• Can work on-site in our Copenhagen office (no remote work or relocation).

• Are curious about where the web is heading and up to date with new technologies and frameworks.

• Feel good in a young and informal startup culture and want to shape the culture.

• Are self-directed, take responsibility, ask for guidance when needed, and are happy to assist others when needed.

• Professional English is a must, Danish a big plus.
