Talentiir is recruiting for a Finance Student Assistant to join our team in Copenhagen, Denmark.

This student position is approx. 15 hours per week.

About Talentiir

Talentiir is a brand-new Talent and RPO company that was launched in May 2021. Talentiir enables scale-up and growth-stage companies to hire the best talent. We offer 3 Tiir levels of service. We provide custom solutions to enable our clients to scale, and at high volume.

Our ambition is to be the leading RPO provider in Scandinavia within 3 years, and both our growth plans and journey is going to be an exciting one!

In just 5 months we have grown to a 7-person company. We aim to grow the team to at least 9 by end of the year, to 20 by the end of 2022, and to 40 by end of 2023.

Your role

As Finance Assistant, you will support the CEO in having responsibility for Finance at Talentiir. Your numbers ensure we are on top of everything, and that we can keep growing our company at a fast pace. You should also have the confidence to tell the CEO where money should be saved, and when we can or cannot spend! You are empowered and trusted at what you do best – The numbers!

Some of your exciting responsibilities:

• Keeping our cash-flow forecast, balance sheet, profit and loss sheet, and all things finance completely up to date.

• Sending invoices to all our clients, and following up where necessary

• Bookkeeping and on top of all expenses. Ensure VAT is reported (we use e-cconomic)

• Monthly payroll of our team (we use Danløn)

• Assist the CEO with financial data to help with business decisions

• Create financial models show a project cost point to our clients

• Partner with our consultant Accountant at the end of each month for all reporting and accounting

Who is the ideal candidate for this role?

• You are currently studying a Finance specific Degree here in Copenhagen, Denmark.

• You have a strong interest in Finance, and you see this opportunity as a perfect start to your dream career.

• You have a solid understanding of balance sheets, profit and loss, accounting, VAT and tax.

• Needless to say – An Excel lover and superuser!

• You are detail and quality orientated – You will spot the typo in row 48!

• You are goal orientated, where you thrive in solving problems.

• Fluent in Danish and English is essential. Danish is a must as a lot of the reporting is needed in Danish, and all financial documentation we receive is in Danish.

Training for you

We want you to become the very best at what you do – Finance! Of course, you will be learning on the job every day, and you get to apply your learnings from University. We have a Chartered Accountant that you will also get training from. If there are any external courses that would benefit you and this role, we will absolutely enrol you!

Location – Copenhagen based

This position will be based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Our office is in a brand-new office hub called Woods. We are just a 1-minute walk from DR Byen metro. Typically, we meet in the office 3-4 days a week, as we all value in-person team collaboration, and building an awesome culture together.
