The role

You’ll be our very first Product Manager to join the team - meaning lots of room to grow, create, shape direction, and have a big impact on the future of our product and journey here at Weld.

The role will be centered around managing the product roadmap, deeply understanding our customers and how Weld can create value for them, feature specifications - both technical and high-level - and shaping the overall product vision.

You’ll be joining our Product & Engineering team which currently consists of five backend engineers and two front-end engineers. At Weld, product development is an extremely collaborative effort between engineering, our customers and internal customer-facing teams. You’ll take part in an experienced team who have a track record of successfully building large-scale B2B software products. 

We generally believe in high iteration speed and run weekly sprints. As an early stage company, our roadmap is not set in stone and we’re a creative bunch of people who enjoy the process of building.

We're hoping that you've;

• experience with building B2B technical software products from idea to customer implementation

• an entrepreneurial mind - maybe you’ve started or run a business before

• a whatever-it-takes approach to ensure that your product and team are successful

• strong written and verbal communication skills, clearly articulating customer challenges

• approached product management from a user’s vantage point and is motivated by the chance to improve the lives of customers

• basic level of technical skills, e.g. if you have to test an external API to make feature specifications

• the drive to challenge the status quo, and give good arguments why

Today, we are a team of around 20+ people spread around the world (Canada, Germany, Ukraine, Denmark and Spain) – with our HQ in Copenhagen. We're generalists; each with our expertise and constantly picking up new challenges as well as giving a helping hand wherever needed.
