CTO for SaaS scale-up in the Dental Industry

We are a tech-backed, SaaS company that provides various software and marketing solutions to dentists in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and the USA - and we are growing. We are therefore looking for an ambitious Chief Technology Officer to join the company's management team, who has plenty of drive and knows how to take full ownership of the following tasks.

Job description

As CTO, you will have a close dialogue with colleagues, stakeholders and customers to ensure that Dental Media's technologies are utilized in an optimal way. Together with the management team, you will be the driving force behind the company's digital roadmap and will have the overall responsibility for the entire company's technology solutions - both infrastructure, software and development. It is expected that you have your finger on the pulse in terms of current technological development and have high technical insight - but it is very much a requirement that you have a solid business understanding of the company's commercial terms. You will be responsible for a team of two Backend Developers / PowerBI Consultants, a Software Deployment Manager as well as an Art Director and a Web Designer / Developer.

Responsibility

• Develop and maintain technology solutions in line with Dental Media's business objectives

• Ensure the daily operation of Dental Media's platforms

• Manage and ensure progress of Dental Media's technological roadmap

• Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to continuously evaluate performance

• Communicate the technological strategy to the relevant stakeholders

• Promote the framework for knowledge sharing, digital opportunities for collaboration and the establishment and documentation of best practices

• Build and document quality assurance processes

Requirements

• You have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience from a relevant role. It can e.g. be as IT Project Manager, Senior Developer, IT Product Manager or similar.

• It is an advantage if you are certified in project management, e.g. PRINCE2 or Scrum.

• Successful track record of well-executed projects in IT in a high-performing, fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of technological trends in relation to developing digital strategy and curiosity enough to keep you constantly updated.

• A solid understanding of budgets and business planning.

• Leadership and organizational skills.

• A problem-solving attitude.

• You speak fluent Danish and English.
