We are looking for a strong Product Owner to be part of building the technology solution and gateway for European Car Trading of the future. The role can be based in Copenhagen, Vejle or Hamburg.

 AUTOproff is a car trading SaaS solution for the professional market. We are growing fast and serve more than 6,500 customers across the whole professional value chain in several European countries. Our mission is to make it seamless, secure, and more attractive to trade used cars, and we are looking for the right profile to join our journey.

As our Product Owner – New Business at AUTOproff you will be responsible for digital product-services within a new business area where you will work to identify, specify, deliver, and manage digital products. You will lead the full product development and maintenance lifecycle and stand accountable for the performance of our digital products. You will work closely with people across our business, operations, and specialist area to deliver holistic solutions that meets the needs across internal and external users. Over time the role will undertake Product Management responsibilities.

Your mission will be to support the growth of our business into new areas, through defining and developing valuable digital services for our customers using digital technology, innovation, and service design as key drivers.

You will report to our Head of Product Portfolio and will be instrumental to define and develop innovative digital product-solutions to a dynamic and growing market segment.


Let's dive into your key responsibilities

  • Understand, analyze, and break down business-needs into digital product requirements. 

  • Methodically manage a product-centric backlog. 

  • Integrate product into a bigger technology portfolio and platform 

  • Build and maintain an overview and roadmap of digital solutions and opportunities within your specific business area. 

  • Understand, develop, and improve workflows using digital tools and products. 

  • Develop and apply technology within our business context. 

  • Package and release digital products & services

  • Monitor and report on product-performance – and implement changes if needed

  • Accountability for the full delivery of digital products (internal & external). 

  • Refine our operational setup on digital development through implementation of new methodologies. 

 

The need-to-have skills

  • A degree in Media, Information, Technology or similar. 

  • Significant experience and demonstrated results within digital product development. 

  • Understanding of the end-to-end digital development pipeline 

  • Experienced and ideally certified within Scrum, SAFe, Prince 2, Kanban or other relevant agile methodology. 

  • Familiar with data driven processes. 

  • A genuine interest for digital product management and service design. 

  • Proactive and collaborative by nature. 

  • Enjoy an ambitious and fast changing work-environment. 


The nice-to-have skills

  • Experience with SaaS and commercial service development

  • Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics

  • Experience with B2B product solutions

  • Skilled in Jira, workflows and configuration

  • Experience in working with distributed teams
