Blue Lobster is a platform that allows direct sales with sustainable fishermen.

Illegal fishing is a key driver of overfishing globally and is a threat to marine ecosystems (WWF). It represents 26 million tonnes of fish annually (FAO). This means that we don't truly have a good grasp of how much fish is being pulled out of the ocean each year. In fact, 36% of seafood across 30 countries is mislabeled according to the Guardian Seascape.

Through our platform, we enable buyers and fishermen to cut through the long logistics chain and administrative barriers and make direct purchases. For the fishermen, this means that they are able to keep more of the money for their fish because there are fewer players to share the cost; and for the purchasers, this means that they finally have access to purchase directly from fishermen and can get fish faster and fresher than through any traditional means. And we take care of all the administration of reporting the fish on behalf fo the buyers and sellers - so every fish is landed legally and quotas are upheld and every buyer and seller is compliant with reporting requirements.

The founding team consists of Nima, our CEO, and Christine, our COO. Nima has a strong background in international development and has been named one of Forbes 30 Under 30 and is one of the Obama Foundation's European Leaders. Christine has 10+ years as a researcher and data analyst.

We are looking for a third leg on the cofounding team - specifically someone with a strong technical background who has the work ethics, strategic inclinations and passion to bring us to the next level.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead & build our teach team

• Prioritize and plan upcoming features and API integrations

• Think long-term and strategically to implement technologies that enable us to scale

• Build the experience for fishermen and their customers

• Work with our developers to prioritise the technical roadmap in line with the company roadmap

You have experience with the following:

• Strong leadership

• Project management experience

• Robust full-stack experience

• Entrepreneurial inclination

• Strong knowledge of API integrations (we will be integrating into our customers' other admin and financial tools).

• Agile/Scrum development process
