We are looking for talented analysts for Klimate's analytical team. Start January or February 2022. As an intern (Analyst) at Klimate, you will be part of an ambitious start-up that strives to be the leading broker of carbon removal solutions.
Klimate empowers companies to compensate for unavoidable emissions through portfolios of carbon removal projects. We aggregate and broker the best suppliers and projects ranging from forestry and soil sequestration to biochar and direct air capture.
Analysis and insights
Every day, we work hard to accelerate the development and adoption of technologies that can help fight climate change by actively removing CO2 from the atmosphere. You will participate in various projects that involve research into sustainable solutions and trends, conduct analyses of potential suppliers, identify future markets, scope projects, generate ideas, and support general business development. The assignments are typically a mix of research, sales, and communication. For example, you would help us by:
Creating reports, presentations and data visualization
Writing commentary, summary, conclusions and recommendations, as well as blog posts and newsletters
Analysing data on sales, suppliers, and product
Supporting our sales and marketing efforts with ad-hoc data visualization, strategic advice and reporting requests
The exact tasks depend on your interests and skills, as well as the general business needs.
About you:
The internship is open to students who are currently enrolled in a master's degree. We expect you to have an academic background in sustainability, and you must have strong competencies in research and writing. We look for independent and driven people, who want to contribute to developing solutions for the climate crisis, and who can take initiative and deliver results.
We work with Danish, Scandinavian and international suppliers and customers, so we expect you to master English verbally and in writing. You do not need to speak Danish, as the working language at the office is English.
Start:
We would like you to start in January or February 2022, and we are open for internships lasting 4 to 6 months. We expect you to work 3-4 days, depending on university requirements for internships and/or course load. We are flexible with regards to exams and holidays.
After you apply:
We will read all applications carefully. If we see a match, we will invite you for an interview. If you are shortlisted, we will invite you to do a research and writing assignment (in English) followed by a final interview.
Tips for your application:
