About the position

We're looking for a talented UI Product Designer to join our team and work directly on shaping our current and future products in close collaboration with our Product Managers, Designers, and Developers. Your input and way of challenging existing-working routines will help shape the future of the company and possibly the market for EV charging.

About you

You don't (necessarily) have to be obsessed with Electrical Vehicles, but instead, you should be obsessed with creating the best possible solutions for the thousands of Monta users that use our products every day. At the core, you are an aesthetic who loves solving problems through design. You have a systematic approach to creating and maintaining design. You love to work in a fast and iterative environment, where frequent shipping and iterating on our solutions with our customers will be part of your daily work. We LOVE design and great UI, and you will play an important role in making sure we keep delivering beautiful products to our users.

We believe you are a great candidate if you..

• have solid experience in designing digital products and systems on multiple platforms (Android, iOS, Mobile Web, Desktop, etc)

• have solid experience with contemporary digital design tools, such as Figma, Sketch, or similar

• are experienced in wireframing, prototyping, and micro-animations and have an understanding of user-centered design principles

• have a great eye for visual design with attention to detail, and a well-developed craft designing UI demonstrated in a portfolio or presentation of work

• have the ability to set design requirements based on briefs from internal teams and external partners

• feel confident working in an environment with lots of questions and few answers. Have a mindset defaulted to search for the right solution to a problem - not always the prettiest (that's why we iterate on a solution with our users as we go)

• have the ability in creating design artifacts including customer journeys and personas based on a deep understanding of the customer

• have expertise in usability best practices, specifically related to local and universal visual languages, and symbolism/semantics

• have expertise in creating and extending information architectures and interaction models, designing for considerations including accessibility, scale, growth, discovery, localization, and personalization

• Work on product problems from initial definition to world-class shippable design that you deliver.

• Define design requirements based on briefs from internal teams and external partners.

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and UI/UX designers on shaping and implementing new features across our product divisions.

• Be responsible for creating and maintaining well-defined and scalable design

• Take part in defining and creating our design system across multiple platforms
