As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will help build, scale, maintain, and improve the infrastructure of a fast-growing Customer Experience platform. You will be using new technology to solve hard problems in a friendly and encouraging work environment. Your colleagues:
SRE works as an autonomous team in Falcon with your colleagues present in all our RnD offices (Copenhagen, Budapest, Sofia and Chennai). They are friendly, self-driven, and highly value critical thinking in their teammates. Apart from the RnD team, you will be building rapport with other key stakeholders in the business, like product managers Compliance and CX.
What you’ll do:
You will be supporting the RnD and getting rid of all the obstacles that come in their day-to-day work. You will also be playing a vital role in supporting our platform hosted on AWS, which consists of more than 200 microservices running in docker containers.
Support the Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud infrastructure, production and non-production
Follow good practices of infrastructure as a code
Write elegant, self-testing and well documented solutions
Be mindful of the business - by communicating with your colleagues and management, help us ensure that we’re building the right thing at the right time
Understand the complete stack and confidently uses the tool chain
Take an active part in sprint planning

2 to 4+ years of experience at a similar role
Expert knowledge Amazon Web Services, Docker containers and container orchestration tools, such as Kubernetes
Experience with network design in cloud environment and troubleshooting VPNs, firewalls, routing and switching
Strong Linux background, preferably Debian/Ubuntu
Knowledge of web proxies such as HAproxy and NginX
Provide internal tools for the team and external stakeholders, removing friction and repetitiveness from your colleagues
Experience with operating and maintaining Elasticsearch clusters
Good understanding of logging flow: Elastic stack (Filebeat, Logstash, Elasticsearch)
Strong knowledge of Ansible
Excellent understanding of CI/CD pipelines in dockerized and multi cloud environment
Ability to implement and maintain IAAC environment (e.g. Terraform)
Experience with relational databases like PSQL
Knowledge of monitoring systems such as CollectD/StatsD, Graphite, Prometheus
Knowledge of Go or Python programming language
Experience with Graylog as logging system
Experience with Rancher
Familiar with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
