• Business Analyst to support Valerian’s management team in all functional areas

The Role:

 Valerian’s business analysis team will:

• Perform top-down and bottom-up market research to inform strategic and tactical direction

• Assist our data science team with algorithm design, architecture and implementation

• Collate various databases that form the basis for Valerian’s data driven decision making processes

• Help business development and sales team with preparation of impactful sales and marketing content for our UK, French and Nordic teams

• Support management team in fund raising efforts

• Work with the tech team to bridge data and business requirements 

As a business analyst, you will have the opportunity to work in a flat decision making and communication environment, gaining exposure to best practices the founders have developed at firms like McKinsey, Goldman Sachs, and LEK.

You are a driven individual with excellent academic credentials. You are a self-starter who knows that the future of work isn’t to join a large organization but instead to learn in a startup environment from a seasoned team of founders. You are a polymath with interests ranging from technology to finance, to digital marketing data. You love to learn and challenge yourself.

 You have a couple years professional experience and feel you are ready to take on your next challenge.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment but also enjoys the fact that Valerian nurture and takes care of its team. You have excellent interpersonal skills, a keen sense of humor and the capacity to not take things too seriously (especially yourself).
