We are seeking a driven Logistics Specialist who would have responsibility for optimizing our entire global logistics and supply chain - and drive high performance and cost improvements.

You will be working closely with the Head of Logistics with managing, optimizing and executing improvement projects globally. You will be working cross-functionally to help Nordgreen ensure a fast and cost efficient chain of logistics.

You’ll be perfect for the role if you have...

• Experience with cost reduction and logistics optimization.

• Experience with e-commerce.

• An exceptional attention to detail and a knack for structuring many moving parts.

• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience with logistics, distribution, and optimization across global supply chains.

• (Or) A relevant educational background with a few years of relevant professional experience

• English is the main language of Nordgreen. Working proficiency in Danish is a plus.

• Fast-paced and able to stay motivated solving both manual and administrative tasks.

• Consider yourself a thinker as well as a practical doer.

• A positive attitude and work well under pressure.

• Thrive in a fast-paced, results and team-oriented environment.

• Work independently and take responsibility for your tasks and beyond, have experience with global distribution and supply chain.

• Quick to adapt to new systems and good excel skills

• Have an acute attention to details and structure

Responsibilities:

• Forecasting and follow up on stock levels. 

• Coordination and follow up with internal/external stakeholders

• Supporting the Sales department and ensuring compliance regarding selection of Logistics providers, packing and delivery deadlines, exchange of departure and arrival information and correct documentation in accordance with customer needs.

• Constantly seeking to identify and implement process improvements to support service level and sustainable development targets.

• Ensure inbound and outbound transports are booked and organized in the most cost-effective way in respect of launch date, according to customs rules and in line with internal procedures

• Play an active role when implementing new systems and guidelines
