We are looking for an experienced and senior UX professional to lead our team of 8 UXers. You will play a central role in defining our future product. As UX Design Manager you will lead cross team UX initiatives and help develop and grow your team.
Our software has helped people lose over 100.000 kg and change their life with healthy habits, workouts and nutrition! This number has grown exponentially until now and we need you as our UX Strategist to help us maintain the growth.

Your areas of responsibility will be:
Manage a team of User Experience professionals to develop and support our product.
Ensure fitting product-team compositions and lead recruitment of new user experience designers and researchers.
Develop team members’ skills, promote career development and provide design leadership and guidance to UX designers & researchers.
Influence and establish best design & research practices through solid design decisions, processes and tools.
Ensure a productive environment for your team of designers & researchers allowing them to grow and produce meaningful work aligned with business objectives.
Work closely with product management team to ensure we're building the best products.
Join and lead discussions around different platform initiatives.
You are expected to lead from your core competence as a seasoned User Experience designer, where you're well familier with
Planning and executing product discovery in collaboration with product managers and tech leads
Mapping, triangulating, and making sense of customer insights while connecting it with desired business outcomes and possible solutions.
Defining, articulating, and testing ideas, concepts, interactions, and prototypes with a strong focus on solving user needs.
Facilitating workshops and programs
Setting up continuous and recurring cycles of constant user feedback and testing with end-users.
You have 5+ years of professional experience with UX
You have minimum 2+ years leadership experience managing teams
You have a strong toolbox of UX methods that span across strategy, user research, and interaction design.
You have worked in a metric driven product organisation and value the power of the accumulated knowledge of frequent (weekly) customer touchpoints over more thorough field studies, while both are essential.
You can analyze and break down complex problems, and know how to work strategically and structured as you uncover desired outcomes and user needs and transform them into new and validated concepts and ideas.
You have experience with digital idea- and concept development. Could be through design sprints, prototyping, or similar.
You work in a goal- and data-driven way and would rather want to validate your hypotheses through research, tests, and prototypes, than trusting your gut instinct
You are familiar with the principles of modern iterative development and concepts like Dual Track agile, OKRs, etc.
