About the role

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager having in-depth experience in product development practices. You will join an industry-leading company and work in the product team on the growth of the most popular game analytics tool in the market powered by best-in-class data engineering. This is an exciting opportunity to join us as we embark on our next growth and maturity phase.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead cross-functional development teams to deliver impactful changes in line with the product strategy and overall business goals. In the product team, you will work across the development cycle of features - from ideation to release.

You will be in direct contact with our customers (game studios) and business stakeholders to collect feedback and improvement ideas, turn these into feature specs, and then work with the engineering team to put them into practice. Your input will be essential in shaping our product and roadmap, and you will work closely with both the business and the engineering side in the

company to keep expectations aligned and have the teams work optimally together.


You will.. 

  • Lead the ideation, definition and product development process working with cross-functional engineering, design teams and other key stakeholders on features and ongoing iterations

  • Perform user research and competitive research in order to identify product pain-points and customer needs

  • Create mockups and pursue prototypes to gather feedback internally and from our users to ensure we are building the right tools

  • Prioritise sprint backlog to balance progress on roadmap projects with the need for addressing maintenance

  • Explore new areas made possible by our technology and validate the viability of potential product features and requirements with technical teams

  • Become knowledgeable on team collaboration processes and suggest improvements

  • Work with the design team to improve usability and customer experience

  • Review release candidate features. Create Jira tickets addressing bugs or improvements and prioritise them

  • Act as a product evangelist and provide support for the sales and marketing teams for product launches, campaigns, or direct key customer relationships

  • Become an expert in analytics (our service) and contribute to defining and communicating long-term roadmap


REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 years proven work experience in technical product management, working in an agile environment

  • Experience working on a SaaS product

  • Understanding of data pipeline, architecture, and processes - e.g. data streaming, ETL, high volume processing, time-series databases, distributed systems

  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product development process, with an attention to detail and quality

  • Having an ability/process to discover team frustrations early to learn a root cause and proactively address relevant areas

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and mentoring skills

  • Ability to coordinate people and projects (occasionally facilitating changes) with your mindset on deliverables in alignment with business strategy

  • Mindset for getting things done and supporting, and measuring the success of initiatives with data

 

Desirable:

  • Experience working with analytics or data visualisation products

  • Experience in the mobile gaming space

  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies

  • Experience working with customers and giving product demos
