Hej!
We’re Butter and are looking for a Customer Success Manager to help us keep our fast-growing customer base happy!
Our mission is providing financial wellness to gig & shift workers by giving them control over their salary. A win-win, as their employers reap the benefits of having a more motivated workforce.
We are looking for a Danish-speaking person with a happy and smiling personality.
Butter is a Fintech startup, looking to provide financial wellness to hourly paid & gig workers by:
A) Helping them get a real-time overview of their earnings after tax (and planned earnings!)
B) Track against their bills & goals - to help them always be able to pay this
C) Give them instant access to the rest of their salary - freedom to decide when they want to be paid
We have been live for over 1 year with our product and have been iterating with our first customers. We have recently signed some of the largest companies in the restaurant industry (Frankies, OliOli, MadKastellet) with lots of users and exciting onboarding cases and are just getting started in other industries. 💪
Last summer we raised more than €1,000,000 from Founders and Vækstfonden, and are now getting ready to set sails towards a customer success journey.
We are a motivated, young and dynamic team – at the moment we are 10 people and cannot wait to welcome the next person to the team! We enjoy having fun together, organising team events and – most importantly – collaborating to create a product people love.
You’ll be working closely with our Strategy Analyst, Frederik, who – amongst other things – currently manages our customers and sets up smooth processes. Another point of contact is Tali, our user researcher, who goes out to the world to test & get feedback on ideas, products & features from our users.
Our offices are right next to the vibrant meatpacking district and we’re sitting with our investors, Founders. It’s an awesome space with free beer, soda, coffee, loads of snacks, delicious lunch and a great rooftop terrace.
We are looking for a Customer Success Manager who will oversee the day-to-day operations and long term relationships with our customers. Further, you will engage in customer onboarding and make sure the customer experience goes just as smooth as butter.
You will act as a trusted advisor and point of contact. Therefore, bringing energy into your calls with customers is needed, and a follow-up call should be seen as a way of becoming even closer to our customers.
You will be supported and trained by the team, so you can facilitate the best possible customer experience. Additionally, the more responsibility you want to take on, the more you will be given.
Responsibilities:
Guiding our customers through the whole onboarding process from A-Z
Identify possible obstacles and thereby contribute to enhance the onboarding experience
Keep an open ear in conversations to spot challenges and collaborate with the team to solve them
You’ll be active on customer-facing support channels like our chat
Check in on customers regularly and act as a trusted advisor for them, so they’re happy over time
Understand the customers’ business needs
Do you have great energy, a good sense of humour & love working with people? Then you’re the perfect candidate! You should enjoy working in the dynamic startup environment, take ownership and like to push things forward. We value that all of our team members take initiative, learn & grow with each challenge and accept to change direction if needed.
We expect you to:
Speak and write Danish & English fluently
Have a relevant Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Communication, IT, Business Administration or the like
If you have some work experience (ideally in a start-up environment), great! But it is not required
Be intuitive around digital tools - we don’t expect you to have tech experience or skills, but it would be helpful if you feel comfortable navigating in apps
Take initiative - you’re not afraid to pick up the phone to ask customers about Butter and follow up on them when needed
Have great communication skills & a good sense of humour - be willing to contribute to this being a fun place to work
Be able to work at our office in Copenhagen (though you are free to choose to work remotely as well)
You should expect to work normal working weeks, though overtime may occur in busy periods. We are in the midst of building an awesome company and can’t wait to on-board you - so we will hire the right candidate as soon as we find him/her.
This job comes with several perks and benefits
