We are now on the lookout for a  Digital Content and SoMe Manager to join our growing team. In this position, you will be working closely with our E-commerce and Marketing teams to shape the voice of Denmark's fastest-growing startups across all channels and markets. You will lead a broad spectrum of visionary projects from start to finish, including SoMe campaigns, collaborative and strategic copywriting to boost engagement and SEO growth. We expect you to utilize storytelling to build our community, validate our product and attract the right people to advance our mission.

We have a global footprint and a hardcore focus on being a radical, desirable, and fashionable lifestyle tech product, with a strong brand environment and digital ecosystem.

The brand sits at the intersection of fashion, technology, and mobility and has gained the backing of many of the world’s most famous musicians, actors, athletes, and business people. Collaborations with luxury brands such as Moncler or Palm Angels have made the bike a household brand and design item.

We are now heading into the next phase of scaling up the company and fully utilizing the momentum of our business model and market positioning – being the coolest and must-have e-bike on the planet.

Your Responsibilities

As a Digital Content and SoMe Manager for MATE your main responsibilities will include:

• Developing, delivering, and ensuring impactful content on our digital channels.

• Producing and executing authentic and/or repurposed campaigns, either in-house, with a freelancer, or via external media agencies.

• Establishing and owning a content calendar; constantly updating content and sharing media articles on SoMe channels. 

• Copywriting for newsletters, web pages, Facebook, and Instagram while respecting the brand style guides with an acute eye for detail.  

• Creating a welcoming and collaborative community environment amongst our backers and customers through storytelling.

• Engaging with our online community and responding to comments and inquiries. 

• Experiment with new SEO tactics and strategies through citation building, local link outreach, and Google My Business Management.

  
  

Your Skills Requirements

The most important skill in this role is to create the right tone of voice MATE.BIKE is striving for both our products and our community of riders. We expect you to have a solid understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment. Preferably, you have proven work experience as a Digital Content Creator or SoMe Manager either from a start-up or agency. Therefore if you can tick most of the boxes below we would love to hear from you!

•  You have a proven track record of developing and publishing strong and engaging content on digital and social platforms 

• You have a good understanding of SEO best practices and how to rank content on a search engine results page

• You possess a strong sense of trends and developments within the field

• You are used to working in a fast-paced and high-growth working environment where there is an opportunity to work on many different tasks.

• English is our company's language, and thus we require full proficiency in English.

• A professional background as a Community Manager is a plus.
