We are expanding fast and are now looking for a talented accountant to join the team and to help keeping us on course as an important part of the finance organization.
You will be part of an experienced team of international finance professionals that both love to work in finance and strongly care for our mission of making cities more livable again.
This role will carry the responsibility to manage daily activities in accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure that obligations are met and sales invoicing is done in due time.
This role will carry the responsibility to manage daily activities in account receivable functions to ensure that the sales invoicing of the Donkey Republic is done in due time. Account receivable activities consist of issuing, administrating, and monitoring invoices to customers, affiliates and partners.
Accounts payable activities consist of administrating, checking, and posting invoices from the vendors, inter-company and other payables. Account receivable activities consist of issuing, administrating, and monitoring invoices to customers, affiliates and partners as well as regularly following up on the payment status.
This role will ensure to timely allocate and issue invoices in accordance with entities financial set up which demands close communication with companies’ operation and sales managers and project owners.
Further, this role also provides cost analysis and financial overview connected to the projects and stock management.
Account payables and receivables
Processing incoming and outgoing invoices and posting them in our ERP system (e-conomics)
Closely cooperate with responsible department (i.e. sales and operations) to automate and improve workflows as well as software performance
Paying and reconciling account payables including communication with vendors and balance confirmation
Correct allocation and follow up on Prepayment from customer balance accounts, follow up on open receivables and ensure timely payment on our customer side
Approving staff expenses and reimbursement (Outlay)
Bank reconciliation and corporate expense managing (Credit cards)
Monthly & Annual reporting
Reconciling particular financial items i.e. stock; foreign vat postings; project cost
Making accruals for missing cost and controlling against cost of previous period
Making analysis on cost allocation between departments
General activities
Constant overview and follow up on the incoming invoices. Coordinating and administrating.
Accurate data handling and consolidation into fair reports. Keeping strict deadlines

As we are a small team in a dynamic company additional finance related task can occur
Finance or accounting related degree (Master preferred)
5 years’ experience within creditor control, accounting or another relevant finance area
Strong technical skill with Excel and common ERP systems (Visma e-conomics is a plus)
High level of responsibility, independency and organization
Good communicative skills in English and experience with international and dynamic work environment
Fast learner, innovative set of mind and flexible
Strong time management and result orientation
You will report to the head of accounting. Other key partners will be the CFO, the operations and sales team and external accountants.
