Donkey Republic’s journey in the European markets is taking off and we have a lot of interest from the public sector and transportation companies. This means we need a talented individual who will thrive with improving our work on public procurement and tenders .

You will be joining a (kick-ass) international business development team, and work closely with our Chief Sales Officer, to help reach our growth targets.

We are 15,000+ bicycles large, serving 300,000+ customers across 70 cities and looking to scale across the globe.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Prepare tenders and standardized tender templates and documentation.

  • Develop the bid and tender strategy

  • Prepare initial tender documentation and coordinate obtaining the required approvals.

  • Compilation of various input to create a more complete tender proposal

  • Take an active role in assessing various opportunities and enter dialogue with stakeholders

  • Monitoring deadlines

  • Evaluation and contract negotiation

  • Liaises with the other departments on an ongoing basis with respect to Tender requirements and Tender status

  • Assemble and maintain internal Procurement documentation relating to the tendering process, including recording management approval relating to tendering and contracting actions.

  • Maintain tender files and arranges their archiving upon Tender completion

  • Prepare Tenders status reports and expected timelines on a regular basis and when requested.

We expect you to: 

  •  2-4 years of relevant work experience (grant applications, public procurement,

  • To be highly organized 

  • Experience with international and specifically European grant applications or public procurement.

  • Project management experience

  • Excellent written and oral skills in English 

  • An understanding of the politics and frameworks that govern European public procurement or tender opportunities

  • Some experience with joint development projects or partnerships development would be a strong advantage

  • An educational background relevant for the role

  • Able to dissect a large amount of information

We would also like you to:

  • Be fluent in one of the following languages: German, French, Spanish or Finish

  • Have some legal background

  • Want to change the world with bikes.
