Copyright Agent is a young but rapidly growing company of +35 people working with content creators across Europe, to manage and protect their intellectual property - mostly images and texts - from unlicensed use.

The time has come for us to expand into the French and Belgian markets. As a case manager at Copyright Agent, you will work in a blended 13-person team to protect image copyright online. You will establish our French and Belgian markets, assisting with translating documents to a high standard, you will be responsible for handling and processing our copyright infringement cases and handling all the communication with our clients and counterparties via telephone and email. The position is for 20 hours, with the possibility of increasing hours depending on the development of the market.

An average day at Copyright Agent looks like this:

• Starting new cases alerting counterparties to copyright infringements on their websites

• Educating counterparties on copyright law and answering any specific questions they have regarding their case

• Liaising with our clients with updates from the case management process

• Sending and chasing invoices for payment.

• Adhoc translation tasks

Key competencies

• Native French speaker and full working capacity in English (it's our company language)

• A calm and confident telephone manner - it is a requirement that you have experience with making outbound telephone calls.

• We expect that you have a background in sales (including cold calling) or in legal positions. We expect that you have experience working with targets and you enjoy doing so.

• A structured approach to work and a curious mind

• Its a HUGE plus if you also speak Dutch
