We are growing rapidly and are in Copenhagen looking for a Financial Controller that is motivated to help develop a best-in-class finance function.

About the position

Together with the CFO and Head of Finance you will play a vital role in the strengthening and future development of the finance department. You will primarily take ownership of the accounting function but will be included in projects across the organization.

You will primarily be working with the execution and optimisation of:

• Day to day bookkeeping to ensure accurate accounts.

• Account receivable overview and follow up process.

• Timely close of monthly accounts.

• Coordination and preparation of annual reports across all entities.

• Preparation and reporting of financial metrics to key stakeholders.

• Ensuring compliance with VAT and company tax.

• Take lead on ad hoc finance and accounting projects which could include implementation of new systems or procedures.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who fit the majority of the points below:

• You have 1+ years of experience as a financial controller, accountant or similar.

• You have a relevant degree in Economics or Finance.

• You have a strong understanding of accounting and bookkeeping processes.

• You are used to work with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• You are fluent in English (Danish is not a requirement).

• You have a go-do attitude and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.

• You posses strong analytical skills and have an attention to detail.

• You get excited by working and developing in a high growth company where you play a vital role in developing a best-in-class finance function.
