GoSimplo is a Venture-backed tech start-up with an office in the center of Copenhagen. We specialize in Business Intelligence for SMEs, dreaming of a better and intuitive reporting solution for smaller companies. GoSimplo connects disjointed systems and provides a single source of data insights with cool visualizations.

Our mission is to provide the same tech and insights driven by AI/ML that large companies gain an edge from and make this available to smaller companies. We want to democratize intelligent and predictive reporting! To do that we need to create a data-driven product and we are now looking for the missing piece of our puzzle - a Senior Data Scientist that can take ownership of our data and be a crucial part of our mission .

What you will be doing

• Drive the strategy with internal stakeholders and the subsequent development of data science features at GoSimplo

• Drive the development of unique state-of-the-art data products

• Draw insights from customer data sets and consider which potential value lies within for our customers

• Document, develop and deploy machine learning - test, train and validate models

• Build modern data science stack based on the Microsoft Azure cloud services alongside our CTO

• Assist with data-related technical issues and support data infrastructure needs

​​What we are looking for

• A Master / PhD degree in STEM (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Physics or other quantitative field) with +2 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist

• Conceptual thinking, statistical algorithms foundation and problem-solving skills with a good programming experience are key skills for us. You will operate in both a strategic role as well as having hands-on programming tasks

• Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques like segmentation and clustering, neural networks or other is important competencies

• Have used statistical script languages like R and Python to draw insights from large data sets

• Experience with tools/frameworks such as Notebooks (Jupyter/Zeplin) and ML libraries (SCIKIT-learn, TensorFlow, Pandas or other)

• Basic experience with broad data science stack including relational databases (SQL), cloud services etc.

• Experience with business data such as project, time and finance is a big plus

• Any experience with Deep Learning is considered as plus, but not required

• Having worked with Business Intelligence is of course always a plus
