Help grow the coolest social learning platform

FullBrain is the social learning platform where STEM students learn and succeed together. It’s the first social network for learners.

In this internship you’ll get to experiment with the best ways to jumpstart a social network. You’ll get to create our strategy for social media marketing, physical events (eg. students events, parties) with a dedicated budget. You’ll do it out in the wild and from our offices at Matrikel1 (the hottest coworking space in CPH).

During this internship you’ll get responsibilities and acquire knowledge that will make you irresistible to all companies with a digital presence. Plus, you’ll work hands-on with really, really passionate people.

Okay, so what’s FullBrain?

FullBrain is the social learning platform where STEM students learn and succeed together. It’s a social network where learners meet in course spaces. There they ask questions, write math formulas faster than pen and paper and share online resources forming a crowdsourced library of high-quality material. When a student helps others, they get rewarded (you get Netflix for the month by helping your peers). Based on their competencies, students are matched with awesome jobs at places like Microsoft, Unity and Google. All this is tied together with powerful Machine Learning, allowing people to become better, more connected and knowledgeable than yesterday. We use the technologies that Instagram and Facebook exploit to serve ads, for good.

Where is all of this happening?

Our offices are in the hottest (probably) coworking space of Copenhagen. The building is called Matrikel1 and is located at the absolute center of Copenhagen (Gammel Strand, a stone’s throw from the parliament).

We’ll get you a desk with us there. Some days can be remote. However, we strongly prefer to have you with us.

How can I be part of this?

This is an unpaid, full-time/part-time internship for a minimum period of 3-4 months.

In general we add people on the team that we can see working together in the future also. We will definitely be looking to add full-time roles corresponding to our internships during 2022.

What you’ll do with FullBrain

• Work alongside a stellar team of ex-Microsoft software engineers, ML scientists and product designers. You’ll be collaborating directly with our CEO.

• Learn and experiment with the best, new growth hacking techniques.

• Help us establish a kickass signup growth strategy and find novel ways to grow student sign ups (performance marketing, user acquisition, or other data-driven marketing)

• Help us define our growth KPIs and measure the success of our campaigns

• Lead content generation on all social media platforms (our IG and TikTok have 150,000+ views already) with a dedicated budget

• Manage and oversee copywriting content on our blog

• Run structured experiments with new marketing channels

• Assist with the organization of events (eg. student parties) with awesome lineups that will establish FullBrain as the coolest student platform

• Stay up to date with the latest marketing and social media trends

What you’re great at

• You love to convince people of the coolest, new thing that can help them improve personally and professionally

• You have case studies of marketing campaigns/projects you’ve participated in the past or you’re studying Marketing & Comms

• You’re open to experiment with marketing methods you haven’t used

• You like to work fast! Our development often moves from idea to release in the course of hours.

• You are open to lead a team of younger You’s in the future

• You believe that results come above all. We are all here to make the most awesome learning platform ever, so no ego should stand in our way

• You are independent, can carve out your own place in a team and are opinionated about your work

• You are comfortable not knowing stuff and take responsibility to ask for help

• You are comfortable taking your responsibilities and manage tasks by yourself (always with oversight)

• You like to learn stuff all the time. Plus if: Your bookcase is overflowing with unread books or you regularly have 30+ tabs open on your browser

• You are fluent in Danish & English (both speaking and writing)

Why work with us?

We have been working on FullBrain since June 2019 together with DTU Learn T. We’ve published research on it together with university partners at KU and UniPD. Two of the three co-founders (Mirko and Vittorio) left jobs at Microsoft Seattle for FullBrain. We’ve declined positions such as biomedical ML researcher at Johns Hopkins (the best medical uni in the world) and Head of ML in one of Denmark’s top startups to be here.

Our fulltime team consists of Mirko (CPO), Vittorio (CTO) and Panos (CEO). Mirko and Vitto were SWE at Microsoft. Panos was Head of ML at WePly after he founded an ML crypto algotrading firm with 20+ clients globally, managing 5M€.
