As leader of this power house engine room, you will lead the way in scoping and developing the ways in which we deliver employee support & HR operations.
We are currently around 250 lovely colleagues, ready to welcome over 1000 more in the next several years! You heard that right - we will be growing at an extraordinary pace and need your help in making our people processes and employee support ready to enable that growth!
We are looking for a dynamic and energized People Operations Lead to oversee all operational people-related matters and ensure we use our resources the best way possible. Ultimately, it will be you making sure our People team has the processes to operate efficiently, aligned with our business goals.
To be successful in this role, you should bring along your solid HR toolbox as well as previous experience as a leader of people preferably in operational roles, but could be any industry – production, retail, transportation or something completely different!
The most important thing is that you are passionate about overseeing the engine room, you get job satisfaction from ensuring that it runs smoothly – and you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and throw yourself in there when the going gets tough 🔥💪🏼
Reporting to our Chief People Officer, in this role, you will be part of the People & Culture leadership team and participate in building out the mission and vision of the People & Culture team in Lenus!
What you’ll do:
Develop and run an effective People Operations setup to support the entire employee lifecycle
Develop & improve our HR service delivery such as people policies and handbook, employment contracts and other documentation, employee and management support, HRIS-related processes, payroll reporting and benefits administration
Educate our employees and leaders in how to work their data and our systems
Sniff out any process inefficiencies and inconsistencies, and make needed adjustments or automations
Deliver the foundation of our people data; enabling data analytics, work force planning, and accurate measures of our impact via our employees
Your initial focus will be in Denmark & Europe (SE, UK, DE) – and as we grow, you can expect to lead colleagues in other locations such as the U.S.
Play a critical role in the implementation of new systems and processes in the HR space
Experienced in leading a People Operations team - you know the ropes and are ready to develop your team
Looking to join a young organisation where nothing is carved in stone and you can help build the bridges as we run across them
Someone with a process-oriented mindset – you see structures where there are none, you know how to operationally “declutter” and make things more efficient – but you are also keen to apply these skills in an intuitive, scalable and no-nonsense way
Experienced within Human Resources Information Systems including payroll tools
Quite knowledgeable of (Danish) labor legislation
A hands-on, driven, empathic leader who knows how to prioritise and motivate others when we’re all super-busy
Tech savvy (Slack, G-Suite, Peakon, various HRIS platforms)
A strong communicator, with full working fluency in English. Danish is a benefit but not required
