Working at
Madboks Copenhagen

MADBOKS is a self sustainable, lean, volunteer driven project that builds local community, provides weekly nutrition and education/training in socially disadvantaged areas of Greater Copenhagen. With more than 1/3 of the food produced being wasted globally, local initiatives like Madboks take food loss prevention into our own hands, while at the same time tackling food insecurity for people in disadvantaged situations. Our work revolves around re-distributing food surplus collected from supermarkets as well as raising awareness about issues of food waste & empowering communities to become more proactive in their role in saving food from becoming waste.
