Hardware Developer/Engineer - 4 months contract, immediate start

We are looking for an engineer, immediately available for an initial 4 months contract with possibility for extension.


If you have some experience with and want to develop further in:

  • Design, review and testing of electrical systems, schematics and printed circuit boards

  • Electronics Development: Requirements, Documentation, Schematics, Board Design (PCB), Component selection, Making prototypes and debug them

  • Systems Development: Requirements, Documentation, Schematic, Component Selection, BOM development, Sensor integration

  • Product certification: Review of standards and compliance of the products and certification of these, specifying production test procedures

  • You will need to keep track of your deliverables while juggling several tasks

You have a Degree in Engineering, ideally Electronics, Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics, Industrial, Systems Engineering (or similar. You have preferably 2+ years of experience in electronic development, but newly graduated engineers will be considered to join a pioneering team of dedicated specialists in R&D.

About AirLabs - Breathe easy

AirLabs is a University of Copenhagen spin-off company started in 2015 with the goal of reducing exposure to air pollution. AirLabs is working with low-cost high-performance pollution sensors, including infrared, electrochemical and semiconductor sensors. We deploy these sensors in urban environments to monitor air pollution. Recent announcement can be found here. Furthermore, AirLabs helps to purify air in vehicles and buildings with a range of products.

You will be joining a team of 10 competent and enthusiastic colleagues, which is a part of approximately 50 employees across the organization. In Airlabs, we work to deliver the best possible solutions to the customers and take pride in being an action-oriented organization with short distance to decisions.

 

AirLabs are based at Copenhagen and London. R&D department is solely based in Copenhagen and AirLabs in-house hardware production gives the opportunity to choose the optimal solutions. An open dialogue, helpfulness and a common will to move things forward characterize the AirLabs work environment.
