To grow our business and operations team, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead the efforts in sales and help define the product ecosystem of our first product. You will be part of a dynamic and ambitious team with great opportunities and can define a key aspect of the future of Seasony. You will assume a central position in the team from day one, and we trust that you will drive and manage tasks to deliver great results - of course with strong support from the team.
By automating the core processes in vertical farming with our modular autonomous mobile robot “Watney”, we can offer vertical farms substantial reductions on labor costs and increase yields by increased monitoring. As Watney provides a platform for further automation we have created an open ecosystem for module development, that provides a one-size fits all solution for vertical farms. Together with Watney, we are building a platform that allows a seamless operational experience when setting up automation or browsing through data. The goal – to control everything through a simple, well-designed web app.
Your role As a Business Development Manager, you’ll work with the C-suite in our start-up on our largest accounts. You will be the catalyst, helping us build relations, win projects, and manage work. All in all, you’ll be the important link between the Seasony and the customer. Your primary tasks will be:
Articulating and demonstrating Seasony’s solutions through strategic value-based selling, building strong business cases, developing a return-on-investment analysis, and using other references and industry data to build relationships at multiple levels and ultimately drive deals from inception to close.
Working with customer stakeholders to understand their farm’s strategy, challenges, pain points and opportunities and articulating how Seasony can help them achieve their ambitions.
Building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
Balancing quarterly results while keeping a clear line of sight of strategic and long-term revenue opportunities.
Create and execute account plans which address tactical and strategic opportunities.
Collaborating with various distributed internal and external teams to ensure the seamless execution of end-to-end sales cycles and ensure the highest level of customer advocacy.
Help build new product- and strategic partnerships
