UDU is an innovative tech and gaming startup, on a mission to help kids be more physically active and have more fun. UDU was founded by two entrepreneurs who met while working as designers at LEGO, and who share a passion for creating quality play for kids. Today the UDU team consists of more than nine talented people with experience in software, gaming, graphic, product, marketing and business development. Together we’re making a new, healthier, more exciting mobile gaming experience for kids.

In 2021, UDU is expanding. We’ve received the funding we need to begin prepping our console for mass production, building the console’s interactive games, and preparing for a huge crowdfunding product launch next year. As the product grows, so do we.

UDU is now looking for a skilled Game Design Intern who’s interested in join the UDU team. 

As a Game Design Intern at UDU, you will be designing epic new games and experiences for the UDU Console and promote fun, active, immersive gameplay. During your internship you will therefore both be working as a group with the other designers on the larger game as well as be in charge of designing smaller games from the ground up. 

Your main responsibilities will be:  

• Ideate and design active and creative game experiences for the UDU console.

• Write, design and execute player tests to validate your design decisions. 

• Take charge of the design of one of the UDU mini-games

• Do feasibility analysis and keep in touch with the development team to make sure the game is within our scope

• Communicating with the development team, Design team and other stakeholders.

• Document design decisions and communicate this documentation with the development team.

• Be a part of an agile Scrum team and attend daily stand-ups

We are looking for someone who:

• Is living in or around Copenhagen

• Is a game design student or has worked with digital game design

• Has experience with game design

• Communicates effectively and enjoys working as a part of a team

• Is excited to hit the ground running
