The position

FLEXeCHARGE is a software engineering start-up with teams in Copenhagen and Sønderborg that offers intelligent and customized load management solutions for EV charging. We are looking for student backend developers for our SaaS smart charging platform team. Work hours are between 10-15 hours per week, and you can work remotely.

The product

FLEXeCHARGE develops advanced load management software solutions for the electric vehicle charging industry. Our intelligent software helps to integrate the charging infrastructure into the grid to enable emission-free transportation. The FLEXeCHARGE software platform supports various players in the market. The solution architecture emphasizes the development of software as a Service (SaaS) business models and is easily adaptable to the requirements of specific user groups.

Your Tasks

Your main task will be to support the research and development of our cloud-based Load Management architecture.

• Support in the conceptual design of our FLEXeCHARGE Backend-System, which is Cloud-based and used for Device Management (Monitoring, Configuration, Licensing, etc.)

• Research available Cloud solutions and architectures

• Support the development of our Load Management WebService based SaaS, including authentication and authorization, metering, billing scalability, load balancing, etc.

Your Profile

You're likely pursuing a degree in the field of computer science, software, Cloud architectures, IoT infrastructures, or similar:

• You are a Backend Developer who enjoys research and development work in the field of cloud-based IoT architectures and protocols.

• You are passionate about SaaS technologies and the intersection of cloud-based software and the Internet of Things (IoT).

• You have gained previous experience in the Cloud domain working for a start-up or corporate.

• You are curious about future technologies and creative with an eye for perfection.

• You are structured, take full responsibility, and are not afraid to execute on your own.

• You excel in communicating with many new people and love to do so.

• You are fluent and professional in written and oral English. Danish or German is a plus but not required.
