My name is Kaspar Hansen and I am the CEO and Founder of Excelerate.
I am looking for a student or graduate within the spectrum of business development, sales and marketing, to kickstart our b2b sales (lead generation process)

A few words about Excelerate
1 in 5 academics does not have a job 1 year after graduation and 1 in 6 is working in a job they are overqualified for. That's straight-up just not good enough.
Too many bright graduates are not achieving their dreams, but we are here to make it happen. Therefore, we have built a platform where students can list their thesis topic and companies can find the right student group for the perfect thesis collaboration match.
Excelerate is in the early days of the startup journey. We launched our platform in October 2020 and our blog in February 2021.
We have a great marketing team focusing on social media, blog writing, PR and offline marketing, and we are in total 6 employees.
We have an urgent need - we are at the point where we are looking to start our sales efforts. I imagine that we, together, will create the strategy for sales. You will then be responsible for executing that strategy. You will write the contact script, rewrite it, test it and test it again until it's perfect. Your main responsibility will be to fill the pipeline with quality leads. Leads created from phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking, events etc.

Does this sound overwhelming? Fear not! Like all employees, partners and founders, you will also get a mentor by your side. The mentor is not a co-worker, but an independent specialist within the field, who is also a great human being!
Let’s get down to business. We are not in a position to splash a whole lot of cash, unfortunately. However, what we can offer is:

Flexible working hours, but working from the office most days would be preferred (in non-corona times).

This position is non-remote, so you must be a Greater Copenhagen resident. Ideally, you would start asap, but I understand if you want a bit of holiday if you just finished your studies.
