Avallone is looking for an Account Executive in Sales with a solid understanding of SaaS-subscription selling to the enterprise segment (B2B). You will help us further enhance our performance across the entire sales funnel and specifically drive mid-funnel activities, from first customer demo to deal closure.
This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing, venture backed SaaS startup, within the RegTech space. You will get to work with everything from understanding and optimizing top-of-funnel activities though our outbound Sales Development team, through participating in customer demos and presentations, mid-funnel activities such as further understanding the customer decision process, negotiation, deal-closing and handover to the customer success team.
You will be working closely with our CEO & Co-Founder and our Business Development Manager in our outbound team. Through this you will get a unique understanding of financial crime prevention and the Know-Your-Customer (KYC) discipline as well as get to know the largest enterprises across Europe across multiple verticals.
About the role and responsibility
Being part of driving the optimization of the sales performance across the entire funnel together with the CEO & Co-Founder and the outbound team
Preparing for and participating in customer demos and presentations
Being responsible for post-demo activities, including further engagement with influencers and decision makers through meetings, emails and phone calls
In general, being responsible for a focused drive to get customers from first demo booked to deal close
Contribute to develop metrics, KPIs and dashboards across the entire sales funnel in order to drive further optimization
Driving your own learning process both within enterprise sales, but specifically within the KYC-discipline and the Avallone platform, in order to become sufficient knowledgeable about content and thereby being able to run customer meetings and demos on your own
About the background and experience we are looking for
You have 3+ years of sales experience at a subscription-based SaaS company so you understand the business model
You understand the different stakeholders in a B2B enterprise buying process
You are able to, and relaxed about, talking with senior or C-level executives on the customer side
You have a customer-centric and empathetic mindset with a strong desire to understand the pain-point and solve it
You are curious by nature and have a drive and ability to learn new content areas
You are super-driven and result-oriented but understand the importance of creating long-term and sustainable revenue through a partnership approach with our customers
You are comfortable with deadlines, a high pace and big ambitions
You are a great team player with a ‘get stuff done’ attitude
You are fluent in spoken and written English
You master one or two additional European languages fluently in both speech and writing
Experience with RegTech and/or FinTech SaaS products
Strong network within corporate treasury or legal across Europe
Experience with Salesforce CRM
