We’re looking to expand our team with a skilled NodeJS application developer. You will be joining an agile team that work on a SaaS Content Authoring solution for life-sciences companies and their creative partners.

Our SaaS solution uses a combination of serverless functions and containerized servers built with NodeJS. The solution is deployed to Amazon Web Services using continuous integration and deployment pipelines. We have an expanding client base of global enterprise users, with multiple dedicated environments.

You will be primarily working in our solution backend, focusing on creating and updating serverless functions, developing solutions on our containerized servers and helping with environment updates and deployments.

In your role you will have a lot of freedom to design and implement features in collaboration with the product team. You will also be part of the complete development workflow, from specifying and scoping features with the product and architecture team, to the final release.

Your key responsibilities include

• Creating and updating serverless functions

• Implementing API integrations

• Developing features for containerized servers

• Working with content preview generation services (Puppeteer or similar)

• Creating and upgrading client environments using an “Infrastructure as Code” approach

• Documenting your work and participating in feature reviews

• Participating in technical refinement sessions with the broader team

You are an experienced NodeJS developer that enjoys working in Agile teams with a diverse set of colleagues. You are able to spar with product and creative teams to refine stories into implementation ready tasks. You are used to working with larger software projects, handling pull requests, delivering features and writing testable, well documented code. Jira and Confluence are everyday tools for you. You enjoy problem solving and always make time for your colleagues when they need your insight into an issue.
