Cinemataztic delivers a range of new digital products to cinemas

The products are delivered through Cinemataztic's Digital Cinema Hub - our magic platform that connects the audience to interactive experiences on the big screen.

The platform connects the cinema audience to the big screen using the CineGame app. We provide cinemas with audience engagement and profiling for both interactive ads, audience gaming, digital sampling and programmatic advertising.

We make the cinema experience more relevant through gamification, interactivity and user generated content.

What you’ll do

• Design, implement and iteratively improve new and existing backend services

• Implement new features on our web-based cinema management frontend and maintain the existing system

• Help make the right tech decisions in a fast-paced environment 

• Participate in API design and implementation for both internal and external APIs

You’ll be great for this role if you

• Have a strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), node.js, react

• Have working experience with mongodb and perhaps SQL databases

• Have a solid understanding of RESTful APIs - building as well as consuming

• Feel comfortable taking the lead as well as working independently on new features - all the way from idea to deployment (together with other developers and QA)

Even more awesome if you

• Have experience with Docker, Kubernetes (and perhaps Istio)

• Have experience with electron.js

• Have experience with other languages: C#, Go or Python

• Are familiar with microservice patterns - perhaps Kafka too

• Know your way around Linux-based systems and love bash, zsh and the wonders of the command line

• Love automation - think Ubuntu, auto install, pre-seed and post scripts for fully automated headless installations of desktop machines, as well as the good ol’ GitOps and CI/CD

Long shot

Many of our systems and much of our client hardware/software integrate with cinema automation systems. If you have experience with DCPs, audio formats or A/V systems in general we would love to get in touch too.
