Your role in the Company 

As a Frontend Developer you will be representing the tech stack at SameSystem, when working with complex software within the Workforce Management space for the retail and food-service industries. You will be trying to get an understanding of the deeper layers, consequently making you capable of producing excellent code and building interfaces using react. You will be responsible for the following: 

• Analyze software requirements, translate requirements into solutions; choosing the best design alternative based on trade-off analysis 

• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle - architecture, design and development, user experience development, unit testing, delivery, and maintenance 

• Constant code review to ensure outstanding code quality 

You will work as an individual contributor but engage with other software engineers and architects to create new design features for the product. Together with your team, you will capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the development team. 

Your profile 

You are a teamplayer – you know that working as a cohesive team is how you get the best results.  You are willing to learn from and listen to others, and you share your knowledge with and help the team. You are highly technical and analytical by nature, which is put to use in your ability to write great-quality code with a focus on performance, scalability, and testability. Relevante experience includes the following: 

• Expertise with ReactJS, Redux, GraphQL; 

• Knowledge of how to apply object-oriented concepts to JavaScript software development; 

• Experience in how to manage data in backend and frontend; 

• Experience with any of the following tools and languages is a plus: Ruby, Python.

Office and work hours  

You will be able to work remotely and manage your own work hours. However, we like to work together, so we hope to see you at our office, where there is catering and snacks.  

This position is available from our office in Denmark and Lithuania.  

Denmark: You will be working at our new office in the creative and upcoming area of Copenhagen NW. The location will be at Rentemestervej 2a, 2400 Kbh NV. The office has space for more unformal meetings with possibilities for hosting creative inspirational processes and workshops together with your team and equipped with an activity room designed for small brakes during the day.  The office is within walking distance of Nørrebro station and metro and with car parking. 

Lithuania: The office is located in Park Town at Lvovo g. 105A, Vilnius with access to parking. The office provides you with plenty of ways to unplug and catch a breath. If are you stuck on a particular difficult case, maybe a game of table tennis is what you need? We provide gym membership and monthly allocations for improvement of your workday. Furthermore, you get to be part of an international environment with business trips to Denmark and conferences all around Europe together with your team.
