Woodsense is looking for a skilled Frontend Developer to help us further develop our web application. At Woodsense we work to eliminate waste in the building industry and enable an increased use of timber in buildings leading to a more sustainable industry. Using our IoT sensors we monitor the health of wooden structures and materials with the goal of preventing damages and preventing the need for replacement of materials.
The building industry is accountable for approximately 40% of the world's CO2 emissions so if you are looking to make an impact on the green transition Woodsense might be the right place for you.
We are therefore looking for someone who can build unique features with UX and design in mind, who prefers best practices with a pragmatic approach, and who is comfortable taking ownership of the codebase. We love to build stuff that makes life easier for our customers and we want you to feel the same way.
As a frontend developer at Woodsense you will work closely with our CTO, who manages the stack, but we also expect you to be independent and self-driven. See the list of preferred skills below for clues about our stack.

As a developer at Woodsense you become part of a small and ambitious team that believes work should be fun and flexible. You will be able to take part in defining and shaping our development tools, tech stack, and the day-to-day work in our office at Østerbro, Copenhagen. We are open for both full-time and part-time applicants and applications will be processed on an ongoing basis.
