Project Nord is an fast-moving art print start-up based in Copenhagen. We produce minimalist, Scandinavian-style designs on premium quality sustainable paper and sell them to art-lovers all over the world. We are an experienced and creative eCommerce team who believe very strongly that beautiful art shouldn’t come at a high cost for neither customers nor the planet. So we plant a tree for every poster we sell.

We need you!

We are looking for a German speaking intern for our eCommerce team to help us run and develop our German Shopify webshop. You appreciate art, sympathize with our focus on environmental sustainability - and is fascinated by the endless possibilities of the internet when it comes to building a business.

We will teach you all you need to know about driving sales online - and you will get first-hand experience with the operation of a modern webshop. You will be an important part of a dedicated team that covers an ambitious range of online marketing activities from SEO over influencers to email and content marketing - and you will be working closely with the company founders to accelerate our growth in Germany

We are looking for someone to start ASAP for a duration of 3 months, minimum of 20 hours per week. Project Nord is growing fast and we have a lot of exciting projects planned - so you’ll be joining us at the perfect time!

Your Core Responsibilities

• Manage and develop our Shopify store on projectnord.de

• Manage and develop our presence on the global marketplace, Etsy

• Plan and execute our launch on Google Shopping

• Communicating with German customers and suppliers

• Identify new and innovative ways to drive traffic and sales on our website

• Participate in the ongoing discussions about building our brand and sales in Germany.

You Must Be

• An awesome teamplayer

• Passionate about online sales and marketing

• German: native speaker (read, write and oral)

• English: fluent (business communication level) - this is our "corporate language".

• Highly motivated, proactive and responsible.

• Creative mind AND a structured style of work.

• Quick from thinking to doing and willing to put in a big effort.

• You can be a student or on a working holiday

• Willing to participate in and contribute to the ongoing discussions about our German strategy.

Any experience with eCommerce platforms (we use Shopify) and marketplaces (Google shopping, Etsy, Amazon etc.) is a big plus - but not a requirement.
