Who are we looking for?
We're looking for a Head of Design to join our fast-growing team in the heart of Copenhagen. Preferably someone who is interested in gaming and esports. You will
head up our new Design team and specifically be in charge of the GamerzClass brand, look & feel + storefront and product UX. You will develop our style guide and implement it in assets for our ads, landing pages, our storefront, product and much more. You will report directly to the COO and work closely with our Product and Growth teams to ensure UI/UX consistency across all platforms and initiatives.
Lead the Design team consisting of you as the lead together with another designer. You are therefore expected to be very hands on, but with the opportunity to expand the team and delegate as the company grows.
Be in charge of the GamerzClass brand, look & feel + storefront and product UX
Understand the User Experience and the deep-rooted psychological desires and emotions of the customer
You will – together with our CMO and the growth team – use your design mindset to identify growth opportunities and bring them to life
Implement creative decision making
Have lightning-fast execution skills
Be focused on conversion-centric design and use data to make decisions
You love to use your Design skills and mindset work with every part on the funnel, from attracting new customers, blowing them away with an awesome product, to keeping them hooked and coming back for more
Must have a reel or portfolio of work to demonstrate skills and abilities
Proven track record of both solid hands on work and design leadership, preferably in customer centric SaaS company
You have an entrepreneurial mindset
Must own and be proficient with tools like Photoshop, Sketch, XD and Illustrator (good to know Google Web Designer)
Must have experience working on content that appeals to wide audiences
Ability to manage multiple projects of varying complexities, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure
You have the ability to know what appeals to gamers and can use this skill to create great performance marketing campaign content
You are empathetic and great at communicating
You are systematic in your way of working
Other things that help
Experience with HTML5 to create playable ads
Photography and video production skills
Experience with App Store optimization or other creative testing frameworks
