Role

We are a recently funded, Series A startup, with backing from top VCs Icebreaker, OpenOcean and ex-UiPath management, as well as MySQL founders. We are looking for a skilled fullstack engineer (with a focus on data and backend) to join our ambitious team in Helsinki, Finland!

You will be responsible for the Analytics part of our solution, processing huge amounts of data, participating in design and development phases. Finding new insights and studying different improvement paths.

Workfellow is a real-time work intelligence software solution to make sense of work and to get manual stuff automated the smart way. It is not typical enterprise software, instead, we’re building a product with the consumerized look and feel that people love to use (⌐■_■).

Data is the oil/wind/nuclear power of the Workfellow Platform. GIGO applies here as well, so your role would be to find ways to improve our data collection while maintaining high privacy. Understanding how Windows works under the hood helps a lot.

Stack and skills

• The current tech stack consists of MongoDB, SQL Server, Function App, Python applications and APIs - all running on Azure. We use Azure Pipelines for CI and Jupyter Notebooks to play with data. We experiment with Apache Kafka, Spark and more ... Our overall architecture consists of cloud services and a desktop agent/plug-in. As we’re focusing on the large enterprise segment, private cloud and on-prem deliveries are also in the scope.

• Microsoft Automation API experience is a plus, as well as other APIs

• Installer building and distribution

• Data encryption in blood and high information security mindset

• Graduated in Computer Science or similar, or are a self-taught superstar

• EU work permit, based in Helsinki, Finland

• SaaS product development, startup experience, or other interesting projects would be something we’re always keen to learn more about
