Sales Development Representative - German speaking (student position/part time)

Salary Competitive is a young and fast-growing award-winning InsurTech located in Copenhagen. We help insurance companies selling online through distribution partners using our SaaS platform Penni Connect.

We currently have customers in France, UK, and Scandinavia. However, we would love to further expand into new markets. Therefore, we are looking for you!

We are looking for a talented and motivated student assistant/part time employee to join our team as our new Sales Development Representative. You will be responsible for bringing in new business opportunities. A great opportunity to gain more experience within sales, tech, and the insurance industry.

The position will be based in the heart of Copenhagen on Frederiksholms Kanal, where you will join a multinational team of 35 fun colleagues. Thus, you need to residing in the Copenhagen area for this role.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform market and stakeholder research

  • Cold-call leads and spark their interest for a demo of Penni’s platform

  • Reach out to inbound leads who requested a demo on our website

  • Book sales meetings through cold-calling, emailing, and Linkedin outreach

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest news and developments within your assigned geographical market

  • Hunt for new business opportunities

Key job requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a business-related bachelor’s or master’s program, with at least 1 year left

  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Fluency in German

  • Competitive mindset

  • Go-getter attitude - a real hunter

  • Fun and positive attitude

The ideal candidate has

  • Sales experience

  • Competitive mindset built in sports activities or from previous job experience

  • Work experience in a tech company is a plus
