We’re looking for a talented and highly motivated Chief Operating Officer with an insatiable passion for startups and entrepreneurship to join our early-stage, fast-growing SaaS startup. 

You will work with our CEO, Christian, on setting the overall strategy and vision that will bring Cuttles to the next level. Your main goal and responsibility will be to secure that our company is operated smoothly to support and evolve an empathic and healthy business culture on our exciting growth journey towards €100.000 MRR by the end of 2023.

You will be the operational sidekick to Christian, who works tirelessly on product, development, design, branding - and strategy, of course. To help lift the load, you will be in charge of overall operations and administration. You will work with business development, strategy, finance, partnerships, marketing operations, compliances, and regulations, such as GDPR. Last, but by no means least, you will be responsible for all HR activities, including day-to-day management of our already amazing team 🙌

A day in your new seat

You’ll join a small, growing, highly engaged, international team that right now includes our CEO, Christian, our two Startup Success Managers, Jacques & Karen, our Business Assistant Trainee, Inesa, and our Student Helper, Niek. You get to our big, bright, and beautiful office in the center of Copenhagen, grab yourself a cup of Joe and get comfy. From there, you:

⚙️Manage all day-to-day operations and administration of the business and proactively mitigate business, finance, compliance, and operational risks.

🧩Develop and implement business strategies, plans, and processes.

🙌 Establish strategic partnerships and create synergies with existing partners.

💪 Build and lead a high-performance, cross-functional team and cultivate an agile and emphatic culture

🎯 Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth and evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.

📊 Shape and manage the financial strategy, drive scenario planning, and business model development.

Some days you will also:

💸 Co-drive fundraising by yourself and together with the CEO.

🏂 Partner with the CEO and collaborate effectively with the Board of Directors to accelerate progress.

🎨 Come up with creative new ways to help our customers succeed with their startups.

💬 Collaborate closely with our whole team to develop and expand Cuttles.

And you will always:

🐙 Be the face and name of Cuttles when we reach out to customers and partners.

🤩 Be visionary about our mission and passionate about positioning Cuttles as a place for every early-stage startup.

🧐 Be curious and care about how we provide the best experience to all our customers.

To do great in Cuttles, these are your qualifications:

✅ You are fluent and can demonstrate excellent English skills in writing and speech. This is an absolute requirement.

✅ You must be a strong networker both online and offline, and you’re used to using different channels to share your thoughts and join professional debates.

✅ Experience with successfully building and scaling a tech/SaaS business from scratch with a focus on business operations and management.

✅ Experience with startup/scale-up financing and venturing i.e. creating pitch decks, business plans, and financial forecasts and budgets.

✅ Experience working with startups/scale-ups. Ideally, you have been working with and consulting early-stage startups in a VC, bank, incubator, accelerator, or university environment.

✅ High empathy leader who cares and invests in the team and with the ability to build, grow and manage high-performing teams.

✅ Strong analytical skills & data-driven mindset to evaluate team and business performance and make adequate operational decisions.

✅ Ideally, you have experience and a good understanding of digital inbound and outbound marketing.
