We are on a super ambitious VC-backed international growth journey and we are now looking for a Chief/VP Growth to join us. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to join a kick ass team and play a key role in a rocket ship that is set to take off and disrupt an industry value chain.
You will support growth with content, product and growth analytics to continuously deliver insights and recommendations that shape Monta´s value proposition and product and content features across all channels. You will have full growth responsibility for our B2C and smaller B2B2C channels which are both fully digital.
Your overall goal is to secure that Monta delivers on its ambitious growth plans to achieve 400.000 users by the end of 2022.
A few of your key responsibilities
Design and execute strategies to increase user growth, including awareness, acquisition and activation as well as building marketing and product features to drive user engagement, retention, referrals and shape the product to self-grow
Drive effective cross-functional collaboration across marketing, analytics, product and account/partner sales to find and implement creative, unconventional and cost-efficient channels and iterate the content strategy to build a customer base as well as supplier base and grow the business
Employ robust data science, analytics and experimentation methods to synthesize vast amounts of data and report key insights and findings for the broader leadership team and other stakeholders on a recurring basis
Grow out new performance channels across paid while optimizing current marketing stack
Define dashboards to allow real-time access to KPI against goals across the organization and actionable insights
Deeply understand our users and their cohort-based user journeys and psychology
Set up key metrics including CAC, LTV, Revenue Creation, Payback Period, Revenue Retention, ARPPU, and others
Build and lead a high-performance, cross-functional Growth team and cultivate an agile, one-team and emphatic culture

What you will need to bring to the role
Growth expert with extensive experience, demonstrating results in B2C and B2B2C
“Data first” approach and proven ability to utilise all insights from sales, marketing, product and finance to develop strategies that stay ahead of users demands
Significant experience developing and leading teams in a high-growth environment
Marketplace marketing experience where you've worked on both supply and demand acquisition
Start-up and fast growth DNA - proven experience experimenting at speed and at scale
Hands-on experience, not being afraid to roll up your sleeves when needed and execute
Strong communication skills
High empathy leader who cares and invests in the team and with proven ability to build, grow and manage high performing teams. Significant experience working with people leadership and talent development
Nonpolitical, you embrace an open and honest communication style, challenge ideas and demonstrate a collaborative working style
Fluency in English is a must
