The Planning & Strategy team looks after research and insights for our Mano Compass products and services, as well as serving our clients with brand and campaign strategy, advice and concepts. 

The team works in close collaboration with the Orchestration Team (client services and project management) to serve and guide our clients, on matters of strategy as well as campaign orchestration.

As a Planning & Strategy Intern you will be working closely with the Strategy Leads and Associates to source unique and valuable insights for our clients through both qualitative and quantitative methods. You will also support Strategy Leads with ideas and perspectives on how insights become strategic recommendations that should guide both brand and campaign activation choices for our clients.

The objective of the internship is to educate and equip the you with the necessary knowledge, expertise and tools to qualify for a full-time Planning & Strategy Associate position at Mano. This position will be assessed and discussed upon completion of the 6 months’ internship.

Ongoing research and planning support

  • Assist Mano’s planning and strategy team in conducting qualitative and quantitative research as well as translating the results into actionable consumer and media insights. This work includes market and desktop research, translating social media studies into consumer behaviour, and setting up and running social listening analytics

  • Help the team convert insight into strategic implications and opportunity spaces a brand has to connect with consumers as well as articulate strategic recommendations for our clients on how to activate these spaces

  • Prepare presentations and collaterals for client workshop and meetings

General category, discipline and platform insight

  • Ensure that our insights are in tune with the latest digital media opportunities and consumer trends across categories, disciplines and platforms, so that our clients can stay at the forefront of how these opportunities can be realized

  • Keep up to date with and track industry highlights and best practices in insights and planning 

  • Keep up to date with and track consumer, cultural and social trends

  • Inform the team on highlights, best practices, innovations and trends on a regular basis

Beyond the client project and market research responsibilities, the internship will also include:

  • A buddy setup with a Strategy Lead for continuous sparring, evaluation and learning

  • Onboarding in Mano Orchestration framework 

  • Onboarding in Mano Brand and Campaign Compass 

  • Onboarding in Mano Activation Strategy
