The internship will preferably start in August or September and last three to six months, depending on your study and preferences. 

What is the digital future for cyclists? 

The ebike market is currently exploding worldwide. This is due to a lot of reasons, like sustainability, health, better infrastructure and because e-bikes are a very efficient way of transportation on distances between 2 and 20 kilometers. 

PentaLock are right now entering the market with an innovative award-winning bicycle lock targeted e-bike. Although we are selling the lock B2B to bike manufacturers, so they can integrate it into new bike models, we experience a lot of interest from potential bike buyers.  

PentaLock has a hypothesis that our product has a quality that makes many bike buyers interested in buying a bike with PentaLock: 

• If they had knowledge of PentaLock 

• If they knew which bike manufacturers are going with bikes with a PentaLock lock 

• If they knew what it cost and where they could buy it 

• If they could pre-order / sign up for a bike with PentaLock 

We need you to help us find out, who our target groups should be, how they are buying their bikes today, what is important for them and if they would be interested in signing up for information about or eventually pre-ordering new bikes with PentaLock. Then we would like you to figure out, how we can be visible for the end customers and what kind of service we should create for them. 

Tasks will include: 

• User research - understanding bike buyers 

• Facilitate a creative and innovative thinking on potential concepts 

• Develop a digital concept strategy – including use of social media 

• Present the concept to the Sales and Marketing Team at PentaLock 

• Create a prototype of the concept – eventually with an implementation strategy 

Ideal profile: 

• You are creative when approaching a new task and focused in delivering great digital solutions 

• You have a passion for digital design and social media from a business/marketing perspective 

• You have either started on your Masters's degree or at the final of your Bachelor. 

• You are ambitious and self-motivated in your work with the ability to work independently and take ownership of the tasks. 

• A team player, who likes to share ideas and get input from others. 

You will: 

• Get desk space in either Copenhagen (Futurebox, DTU Science Park in Kgs. Lyngby) or at our Head Quarter in Aalborg.  

• Plan you tasks and work together with our Director of Business Development, Nisse Krenchel, who has a past of leading Innovation and Service Design within the insurance industry. 

• Bring your own labtop – but get the necessary licenses from PentaLock

We have just closed our second funding round of +7M DKK, and added a strong investor base from the Danish Start-up scene, to our team and board of directors. 

We have offices in Aalborg and desk spaces in Copenhagen. It will be possible to work from the offices or remotely from home.
