There are nearly 1.2 billion young people (aged 15-24) in the world. 1 billion of them want an extra job. Until now, no other company has made this problem their own. Our app, Yepstr is now Sweden's largest platform for simple and safe teenage-jobs like babysitting, tutoring and dog-minding.
We now need your help as our future Product Manager to put the last pieces into place before we shift focus from Sweden to the World.
You will join Yepstr at a super exciting growth-phase, "early enough" to really make your mark and "late enough" that there is at least a foundation in place . Through your work you will help young people to get their first job and at the same time make the everyday life better for families.
As our Product Manager you will be the leader of our product team. Your main responsibility will be to guide the team right, by ensuring we have a clear product vision and using your understanding of our business to ensure we prioritize research and design efforts in the areas that are most likely to generate results.
To accomplish this we expect that you will push the team to continuously bathe ourselves in user input. It really boils down to three things: obsess about understanding our users, our business drivers and combining that with an assessment of what is actually possible to build.
Lead the Product team
Prioritizing the product roadmap based on data and learnings together with the team
Evaluating the impact of implemented features and sharing learnings with the team
Define and improve our processes and way of working
Work together with CEO on the strategy and vision
Cares for data and evaluating outcomes
Has previous experience from a similar role (Product Manager in mobile app development)
Has experience in managing a team
Is self-driven and enjoys (or thinks they would enjoy!) a fast-paced environment
Has a background in data analysis
Has a basic understanding of programming and can discuss with programmers
Likes people and likes having fun along the way!
Previous startup experience
Mobile games experience
Previously worked for a company in any of these fields: staffing, recruiting, household services, babysitting, tutoring, dog-minding, or services for families
Experience in ProductBoard, Mixpanel
