Hangpod builds modular housing structures and smart home devices (training equipment, growing systems and XR add-ons).

We offer products that helps people kickstart and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Our hardware products is equipped with technology. We are designing and building everything from smart grips and augmented climbing walls to smart planters for growing food. Hangpod is looking for an experienced developer and future CTO to join our team. We are looking for a person that strives for new challenges, is eager to grow and motivated by bringing ambitious goals to life.

You will be in charge of taking our product to the next level defining new technical solutions, building a highly scalable community platform together with our co-founders. The app: Our mobile app will be assisting our growing systems to change between different plant species. Our hardware platform is currently based on the Arduino (ESP 32) platform, which means we are building a wifi app. We would prefer Progressive Web Application, Flutter or React Native for building the app. Experience with Arduino or C++ is greatly valued

.The ideal candidate:

• Has Technical Lead experience (building mobile apps or web services).

• Full-stack development experience and/or Unity experience

• Is a solution-orientated executor.

• Takes pride in writing tight code and solid solutions.

• Professional level spoken and written English. Danish is a plus

• Is positive, professional, ambitious and self-driven.

• Motivated by proactively contributing to the product and its roadmap.• Previous entrepreneurial experience is a plus.

• Previous experience with electronics and circuits is also a plus.**You will be responsible for updating, fixing bugs, bringing new ways to improve the customer journey, administration of the platform as well as work alongside the team that is developing the app taking part in the updates quarterly meetings.

You will have freedom to participate in the development process and execution of future products and apps.You will play a crucial part in our further development as you will become part of the leadership team. The most important thing is that you can find motivation and be as passionate about this project as the rest of the team. You will need the motivation to go without pay, to begin with.You do not necessarily need to be available full-time, but you must dedicate at least 15-20 hours/week to our project. We love and embrace remote, but of course if you are either in Copenhagen, Lisbon or London that would be preferred.
